Junior Arena Attendant

Position Details

• Employment Type: Seasonal
• Duration: October to April (6-7 months)
• Department: Parks & Recreation
• Work Location: On-Site (North Dufferin Community Centre, Honeywood Arena)

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily arena operations and facility maintenance
• Clean dressing rooms, washrooms, public areas, kitchen, bar area, and Norduff Room
• Sweep, mop, wax floors, and maintain facility cleanliness
• Support arena rentals and events
• Perform general maintenance tasks
• Collect payments and issue receipts as required

Requirements

• Available to work evenings and weekends
• Ability to use hand tools
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Self-motivated and able to work independently
• Knowledge of health and safety procedures
• Vulnerable Sector Police Check required before starting
